Wachsstrauch

Sehr seltener, sommergrüner Zierstrauch aus China mit wunderschönen weißen Schalblüten. Die Blütezeit liegt im Juni/Juli. Das gewellte, glänzende Laub verströmt einen angenehmen Duft.

Der Strauch wird bis zu 2 Meter hoch und sollte in guter, humoser Erde gepflanzt werden. Der Standort sollte so gewählt werden, dass der Strauch vor sehr scharfem Wind und strengem Frost geschützt steht. In den ersten Jahren ist Winterschutz ratsam.
