Behaarter Flügelstorax

Selten gepflanzter Zierstrauch mit bis zu 15 cm langen, dünnen Blättern. Die Blüten erscheinen im Juni in 10 bis 20 cm langen, weißen Blüten, die in Rispen von dem Baum hängen. Sie strömen einen angenehmen Duft aus. Im Herbst erscheint eine rauhhaarige, walzenförmige Frucht.

Bei uns bis 5 m hoher Strauch für Waldlagen, größere Gärten und Parks. Der Boden sollte humos und tiefgründig sein, der Standort sonnig. In der Heimat Ostasiens auch kleiner Baum bis 10 m Höhe werdend.
