Orangen-Weide

Es handelt sich hier um eine schnellwachsende Weidenart mit aufrechten Habitus, die sich zu einem ca. 6 m hohen Gehölz entwickelt. Das Laub besitzt eine Länge von 6 bis 11 cm und eine Breite von 1 bis 3 cm. Die Rinde verfärbt sich im Herbst kräftig orangefarben.

Diese Art wurde von der Landwirtschaftlichen Universität in Brno (Tschecheslowakei) nach England eingeführt. Von dort gelangte das Material zu uns.
