Weißer Zwerg-Holunder

Sehr seltene Sorte des einheimischen Holunders mit kleinen, grünen Blättern, die stark mit weißen Punkten gesprenkelt sind. Die Blüte erscheint im Juni in Form der bekannten gelblich-weißen Doldentrauben. Blüte und Frucht sind kleiner ausgeprägt als bei der Wildart.

Sambucus nigra Pulverulenta entwickelt sich zu einem nur 1 bis 1,5 m hohen buschigen Strauch. Durch die geringe Endhöhe kann dieser Strauch auch wirkungsvoll in kleineren Gärten zum Einsatz kommen. Diese unbekannte Sorte liebt einen gut mit Nährstoffen versorgten Boden in sonniger, aber auch gerne halbschattiger Lage.
